Ascension Living Your Strengths

Ascension’s Living Your Strengths journey helps parishioners identify one's God-given talents, determine how to develop them into strengths, explore how these talents and strengths can be applied into all aspects of one's life, and develop a greater sense of community with other Ascension parish members.

As of Fall 2019, over 375 members of the Ascension community have attended the Living Your Strengths program, including parish staff, lay leadership and school faculty.

There is no cost to participate in this journey: Living Your Strengths is offered as a gift to parish members.

The process begins with completion of the Clifton StrengthsFinder online assessment prior to the Living Your Strengths Workshop. During the four-hour workshop, participants learn more about what it means to have "five signature themes," a deeper understanding of the five areas in which their God-given talents are greatest, and how these talents can be developed into strengths. Participants gain the understanding that these talents are a true gift from God, and leave with a plan to develop and apply these strengths in the areas they choose: family, work, community, church.  To register, please visit .
